CCP and deviantART hosting EVE Online starship design contest

Are you creative? Do you like designing starships? Can you draw something other than a stick figure?

If you answered yes to one or all of the above, you CCP is looking for your design ideas.

According to a post over on deviantArt, CCP Games and deviantART are hosting a Create a Starship Contest for EVE Online, and from now until October 13, you can submit drawings for a chance to win prizes.

Here's a blurb from the post:

Up to 15 semi-finalists will walk away with $50 iTunes gift cards, while first-, second-, and third-place finishers will snag $900, $750, and $500 respectively, in addition to an Apple iPad, a Wacom Intuos4 Tablet, deviantART premium memberships, and more.

Additionally, the first-place winner will see his or her design brought to life in the universe of New Eden and ultimately flown by thousands of player pilots.

Some pretty swish prizes there.
