EA’s MMA will get a demo this month, the publisher said today.

And EA MMA demo will launch on September 28. It’s to include four fighters, four different skill levels and a tutorial, and will be available for both 360 and PS3.

As EA Sports has done previously with demos for NCAA Football 11 and Madden NFL 11, suggesting someone on your friends list tries the demo will unlock free content in the full game. In this case, you’ll get “classic” Randy Couture as a playable character.

Included fighters are current Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem, Bobby Lashley, Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Jake Shields.

A “Fight Now” bout in San Jose and an interactive tutorial featuring Shields and Miller at the Horizon Center in Japan are the two available play options.

The game’s out on October 19. Thanks, Kotaku.
