Goldeneye 007 pre-order info detailed

Activision’s detailed some of the pre-order promotions for Goldeneye 007 in the US.

For those buying from GameStop, you’ll get a code to activate Invisibility mode for split-screen multiplayer, where as if you head to Best Buy, you get to unlock Tag mode for split-screen MP.

Tag is basically like the children’s game – except you can kill anyone in Goldeneye in Tag if you’re “it”.

Activision said the timed exclusivity on the offers will expire by the end of the year, so everyone will have them by then if you didn’t place a pre-order down.

Oh, and if you buy it from Walmart, you get an Oddjob T-shirt saying “Cheater”. That’s onto a winner, that is.

Goldeneye’s out on November 2 for Wii.

Thanks, D’Toid.

Highlights include the team building an on-rails shooter because it didn’t know what kind of controller the then-new console would have, and chucking the famous multiplayer in at the last […]
