2D, 3D gamers will have "exact same gameplay experience" with KZ3 MP, says Guerrilla

killzone 3

Living in a 3D-filled world where you think multiplayer for Killzone 3 will be much better then those lowlife 2D lot below? Think again, sir.

Guerrilla's senior multiplayer designer Dan Nanni's told VG247 at gamescom the experience with multiplay in the shooter will be the exact same for those playing with 2D and 3D sets.

He also told us the addition of Move support shouldn't affect how the game is played.

"It shouldn't at all," said Nanni when asked how the motion controller and 3D support affect MP.

"Basically, if you want to play it with Move, here you go. Got a new tool? Try it out, play through it. But if you like the SIXAXIS, go to SIXAXIS.

"3D will not affect your performance at all," he went on to add. "We make sure we're not sacrificing anything. If it sacrifices something, we don't put it out. So if it were a sacrifice, we'd say no, you can't have it.

"But 3D you play it, 2D you play it, no matter what, you have the exact same gameplay experience with no loss of framerate."

Our full interview with Dan Nanniwill go live today.
