Epic bringing "Bulletstorm-sized" announcement to gamescom, but Gears 3 will stay at home

Epic may not be bringing Gears 3 to Cologne next week, but the developer is promising something massive on Bulletstorm.

At least, that's according to a tweet from producer on the People Can Fly shooter, Tanya Jessen.

"A #Bulletstorm sized unveil coming to Games-Com - I'd tell you to hold onto your hats, but that won't matter when your HEAD EXPLODES."

It looks like it may be the only game in the Epic stable coming to Germany next week: Microsoft's confirmed to us that Gears of War 3 won't be there at all.

Swings about roundabouts, eh?

Bulletstorm releases next February for PS3, 360 and PC.
