Civilization V demo coming before release

Developer Firaxis has confirmed it's planning to release a Civilization V demo

The taster will launch in September before the game's full release in the same period.

The news comes via the game's official website in a message:

"The demo will be released in September, before the full game is released. More details about what will be available in the demo, as well as the exact release date are coming soon, so stay tuned!"

Cool beans.

Publisher 2K's already announced it will release on September 24 in the UK.
