Eat, Sleep, Play boss David Jaffe has confirmed that the recently-announced Twisted Metal will play host to a ComicCon panel this year.

He also revealed the game might be playable at PAX, but isn’t quite so sure yet on an appearance next month at gamescom in Cologne.

Jaffe tweeted: “I have not heard if we’ll be at [gamescom] or not. Would love to! I know we’ll have a panel at ComicCon & MAY be playable at PAX. Not sure tho.”

He then added in a second tweet: “Next official update – I think – is ComicCon in a few weeks. As soon as our panel is locked, I’ll let ya’ll know details.”

Twisted Metal was announced at E3 for PS3. It releases next year.

ComicCon takes place between July 22-25 in San Diego.
