Crysis 2 is "more pleasing" in 3D than Killzone 3, says Yerli

Crytek's Cevat Yerli has said when it comes to 3D, he's heard Crysis 2 offers players a "more pleasing experience" than Killzone 3.

Crysis 2 uses a concave 3D effect so that objects do not pop out of the screen, which gives the game "more depth" according to Yerli.

"I have heard numerous people say - and I have seen myself - that we have a better 3D experience than other games right now on the show floor," he told Videogamer at E3. "I don't want to mention any names."

However, when pressed regarding comparisons to Killzone 3, Yerli said he had not seen the game running in 3D, but that he had heard from others that Crysis 2 looked better.

"I think it's a more pleasing experience," he said. "People say it's much more pleasing, much easier on the eye, and it has more depth.

"I haven't seen Killzone, to be honest. I wish I would see it, but they won't let me see it!"

Crysis 2 is due out in this fall, on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, with all formats 3D capable.
