Capcom would love to release a fight stick for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with Mad Catz, the publisher has said.

Speaking in an interview with Joystiq, the game’s producer, Ryota Niitsuma, said:  “I’m not sure about the possibility of doing packages, bundles or anything like that, but, yeah, because this is a fighting game, a fighting stick is a necessity.

“Nothing is finalized on that front, but definitely, we’d like to do something in regards to that [fight stick], team up with them in some way.”

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is due for release early next year on Xbox 360 and PS3, and those wanting a fight stick for it – well, it’s probably going to happen.

The last batch seemed popular enough, despite sticky issues earlier last year.
