Game has reduced the price of the Xbox 360 Elite to £149.99, ahead of the launch of the new 250Gb Xbox 360 model which arrives next month.

The slimmer 360, announced at E3 last week, is smaller than its predecessor, includes five USB ports, a custom Kinect port and a 250Gb hard drive.

Cost of the new console is currently £199.99, the previous price of the Elite, although the new machine does not come bundled with any games or an HDMI cable.

Thanks, MCV.

  • Rumor: Upcoming 360 Elite bundle to include Fable 2 and Halo 3

An Arstechnica source has claimed that a new Xbox 360 Elite bundle is to hit stores complete with Fable 2 and Halo 3. The package will cost $400, apparently, which is the going rate for the standalone console – meaning the games are free. Microsoft will supposedly be announcing the bundle over the next week.
