Tetsuya Mizuguchi has said that Kinect's optional only when playing Child of Eden.

Announced at E3 during Ubisoft's press conference, Mizuguchi demonstrated the game using Kinect, but has told Eurogamer that normal PS3 and 360 controllers are also supported.

Good to know, in case you can't be bothered with motion controllers.

Eurogamer also has a preview of the game up on its site that you should check  out.

Move support for the title has yet to be decided.

No date yet either.
