Nomura to announce new titles between E3 and winter

Nomura

A new Kingdom Hearts for E3 not good enough for you? You ungrateful... hold on? Actually, it's all good: Tetsuya Nomura has said there's more titles to be announced from him by winter.

Speaking in the latest issue of Game Informer, where he had confirmed a new title in the Square/Disney hybrid was on its way for an LA reveal next week, he said that there will be more games that he's involved with to be announced between next week and winter at Square Enix.

"Developement is progressing smoothly," he said when asked on a status report on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, "but starting with E3 and through winter, there are a number of titles I am involved in that will be announced.

"And of course, the company as a whole has many upcoming projects, so we’ll take it one step at a time. We do have plans to officially showcase the title at a certain point."

Nomura is the director of Versus XIII, while as far as other titles go, he's a character designer on The 3rd Birthday and Final Fantasy Agito XIII for PSP, the former of which is due in Japan some time this year, according to Square CEO Yoichi Wada.

He's also said in the past he'd like to do a sequel to Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

Possibilities are endless, innit.

Thanks, Siliconera.
