Nintendo to drop the price of DS in Europe

dslite6

Nintendo's announced price cuts for DS in Japan will also take place in Europe.

According to various reports, the price will be reduced on June 18.

“In the UK Nintendo will be reducing the trade price of Nintendo DSi to retailers from June 18, 2010,” read a statement. “The ultimate price to consumers is, of course, determined by the retailers”.

It is expected that the price will drop by £20-£30 for all DS models.

Good to hear. Hopefully this will happen in the US as well.
