Warner promotes Jeff Junge to head up its digital expansion

Warner has announced that Jeff Junge has been promoted to SVP of Online Games and Digital Games Platforms in and effort to expand the company's interests online.

In his new position, Junge will oversee Lord of the Rings Online operated by Turbine - which Warner purchased for a reported $160 million back in April.

"This newly created position reflects the natural evolution of Jeff’s role in the organization as we further expand our digital presence in the games space," said Group president Kevin Tsujihara.

In his new role, Junge will also help integrate TT Games, and expand Turbine's digital publishing and community platforms.

Junge was previously senior VP of business management.
