White Knight Chronicles II dated for July 8 in Japan

SCEJ's confirmed White Knight Chronicles II will release in Japan on July 8.

The Level 5 RPG sequel, announced at Tokyo Games Show last September, will have a suggested RRP of ¥6980 when it releases.

Sony's also said that for any owners of the first game, they can redeem a product code they get with WKC2 that unlocks white knight equipment, like sword, helm and shield.

Players of WKC1 can carry over their avatar, money, items, ranks and more to the sequel, although will need to have finished the original game first before that's possible.

The first White Knight Chronicles only released for the rest of the world in February, so expect a bit of a wait for WKC2.

Sony's also released a new gameplay trailer of the game, the first since its September reveal last year. Get it below (via Andriasang).
