Nintendo's claimed leading software sales positions in both the US and Europe so far this year with New Super Mario Bros Wii and Wii Fit respectively, with FFXIII and God of War III mounted the most serious challenges from other platforms.

The company has given an estimated top 30 in both the US and Europe for the year to date, as part of its full-year release last week. You can find the slides below.

Final Fantasy XIII has made the biggest sales on a non-Nintendo platform this year in Europe, clocking a fourth place for PS3. God of War III has taken third in the US so far, again for PS3.

The top 360 title on both lists is Modern Warfare 2, at sixth and fourth in Europe and the US respectively.
