Nintendo just posted financials for the 12 months ending March 31, 2010, showing a net income decline of 18 percent to ¥229 trillion ($2.45 billion).

Revenue fell 22 percent, down from ¥1.84 trillion ($1.97 billion) to ¥1.43 trillion ($1.53 billion).

The company blamed "price reduction on Wii hardware," "fewer strong Wii software titles in the first half" of the year and the strong yen as reasons for the decline.

Nintendo looked forward to Galaxy 2, the Vitality Sensor, 3DS and Metroid: Other M as highlights for the coming financial year.
