Blur "may" hit handhelds in the future, say Bizarre

blur1

Blur's set for release at the end of the month on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but what about handhelds?

Possibly, but not right now.

Speaking in an interview with freelancer Adam Hartley, the game's lead designer Gareth Wilson said that if Blur hits handhelds in the future, it won't be Bizarre doing it.

"Not right now," said Wilson when asked about the possibility.  "But maybe in the future.

"To be honest, handheld is not something that we would do anyway. It is something that we would get someone else to do. Just license out the rights to the game.

"We’re not really set up for handheld development here".

The game's been described as the illegitimate offspring of Mario-Kart and Project Gotham, so that should tell you something about it.

The Beta is ongoing through XBL at the moment, but is set to end on Monday< so, get to cracking.
