Double Fine boss and all-round funny man Tim Schafer's been confirmed for Develop in Brighton this summer.

The UK show's notching up some fantastic speakers this year, with BioWare doctors Muzyka and Zeschuk also confirmed for the show.

Develop runs from July 13-15 this year, and is a must-visit if you have even a vague reason to be there. It's awesome. So go.

Press release below.

Bafta award-winning industry veteran and president of award-winning indie studio is to make a rare appearance in Europe by giving a game design talk at this year’s Develop in Brighton Conference, which takes place 13 -15 July 2010.

In 2005, Double Fine released the critically-acclaimed Psychonauts, which won several awards including ‘Best Action/Adventure Game’ from Official Xbox Magazine and ‘Game of the Year’ from Eurogamer. G4TV and X-PLAY recently declared Psychonauts to be the sixth best Xbox game of all time.

Prior to founding Double Fine, Tim was a project leader at LucasArts Entertainment Company, where he was responsible for several award-winning adventure games, including Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. Tim also co-designed Day of the Tentacle, and served as a writer and assistant designer on The Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2.
