First episodes of Alan Wake prequel air this Sunday

Microsoft has announced it is to release the first two episodes of a six-part prequel of Alan Wake this weekend.

The 'Bright Falls' series of short films, directed by Philip Van, will begin airing with the first eps on Sunday for Gold subscribers: Silver members get it a day later and will appear then on brightfalls.com on Tuesday.

The series will continue up until May 17 with the finale, a day before the Remedy thriller releases in the US.

Eurogamer's also said the embargo for all reviews on the game is Wednesday, May 5 at 6am BST. Put it in the diary.

Alan Wake releases on May 14 for Xbox 360.
