Update: It’s true. There’s shots of all of them here. Thanks, Alex.

Update 2: Microsoft’s just formally announced it. Press release is after the break.

Update 3: There’s a huge new vidoc to go with the confirmation right here.

Original: Have $150? Step this way for the Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach.

According to a report from PlanetXbox360, the Legendary Edition is one of three versions planned for release by Microsoft for the Bungie shooter, with the Regular and Limited Edition being the other two that will launch alongside it, according to a catalogue from one US retailer that was leaked to the site.

The plain $60 version is pretty much what it says on the tin, but the Limited Edition will get a “special limited edition case, collectibles and in-game armor”, all for $80.

The Legendary Edition will get all of the above, plus a “legendary “Noble 6′ sculpture and additional in-game armor” for the mean price of $149.99.

If you’ve got a big $150-shaped hole in your pocket, you now know how to fill it. Possibly.
