There’s messages of congratulations from Tim Schafer, Q Entertainment, Epic Games, and even Koei Tecmo.
Apparently showing no hard feelings over the nasty split between the company and Itagaki, current chairman Kakihara Yasuharu left the following message on the site:
“Congratulations on establishing a new company. I wish your company’s future prospects will be prosperous.”
The former Team Ninja head reached a settlement over the bonus issue with Tecmo back in February.
Valhalla is currently at work on only one title, which Itagaki said is “one of a scale on which I have never worked on before”.
