Tecmo Koei wishes Itagaki and Valhalla prosperity

Over on the official website for Valhalla Games, many different industry folks left messages wishing the company and Tomonobu Itagaki success with the new venture.

There's messages of congratulations from Tim Schafer, Q Entertainment, Epic Games, and even Koei Tecmo.

Apparently showing no hard feelings over the nasty split between the company and Itagaki, current chairman Kakihara Yasuharu left the following message on the site:

“Congratulations on establishing a new company. I wish your company’s future prospects will be prosperous.”

Itagaki had sued his former employer after not being paid bonuses promised under former president Yoshimi Yasuda.

The former Team Ninja head reached a settlement over the bonus issue with Tecmo back in February.

Valhalla is currently at work on only one title, which Itagaki said is "one of a scale on which I have never worked on before”.

Thanks, Siliconera.
