laytonfunny

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has tweeted that the Professor Layton developer a game in the works, and it's to be announced in this week's Famitsu.

Here's the tweet, roughly translated from Japanese:

New projects will be announced next week in Famitsu.

Per IGN, Famitsu leaks come out on Tuesday night PST, and a previous tweet stated a new title would be announced in the next issue, so sometime tonight while we sleep it will come to pass.

Hino stated that this new title would be a highly anticipated one, so start your guessing engines now.

Other games in development from Level-5 include: Inazuma Eleven 3, Ni no Kuni (DS), Danbol Senki (PSP), Inazuma Eleven Break (unspecified console), the next Layton game (DS), a console version of Ni no Kuni, Ushiro (PSP) and Fantasy Life (DS).

We just want the third Layton game over here Hino, pretty please. Until then, though, we will just have to be pacified with the anime film in September.
