First Gears 3 trailer s**ts the bed

The first trailer for Gears of War 3 has just emerged from Cliff Bleszinski's reveal on Jimmy Fallon, entitled "Ashes to Ashes".

The trailer sees Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird fighting off a Locust stronghold, with a third group now emerging as a new enemy to both humans and Locust: the Lambent.

It also sees the introduction of double-barrelled shotguns and female COG soldiers to the series.

The game was just announced minutes ago on US TV for an April 2011 release for Xbox 360.
