Shinji Mikami's project site opens with Harakiri flash game

tango

Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami has posted a flash-based Harakiri game over on his website, where he is also recruiting for his new studio, Tango.

It's, rather interesting, to say the least. This is probably what that countdown was all about in the first place.

The game has you mouse click your way through it, providing you have good timing which we don't, apparently, and when your gauge hits the MAX state - slice away.

Despite the funny flash game, the Mikami Project site lists positions for 2D designers, 3D designers, programmers, producers and managers to work "primarily on console game development in Tokyo", per Andriasang.

The site also mentions that the "project is to be completed by 99 days", meaning that sometime in July we should be hearing more about Mikami's new offering.

Go ahead and give it a go.
