Wii-exclusive Samurai Warriors 3 heading to North America

samuraiwarriors3

Nintendo and Tecmo Koei announced today that Samurai Warriors 3 will be released exclusively on Wii in North America.

Slated for fall, Samurai Warriors 3 (originally announced for Japan) has new characters, combat and game-play elements, along with two-player online and offline co-op, a special new game mode that offers players control of characters never seen before.

This game mode is based on the Famicom game Nazo no Murasamejo (The Mysterious Murasame Castle) inspired by Shigeru Miyamoto.

Screens were released for the game back in October, and you can check 'em out over on IGN through the link.
