nVidia to take PC 3D games to TVs

nVidia's announced software that'll allow 3D PC games to be played on 3D TVs. Neato.

The product, nVidia 3DTV Play, allows you to play games from a 3D-capable PC on a 3D TV.

Apparently:

  • Supports all HDMI 1.4 3D TVs any and any compatible 3D glasses system, including Panasonic® VIERA® Plasma HDTVs
  • Play hundreds of standard PC games in stunning 3D environments like World of Warcraft® – Wrath of the Lich King™, Battlefield Bad Company™ 2, and James Cameron’s Avatar™: The Game
  • Enjoy Blu-ray 3D™ playback* in Full HD, seamless 1080p quality thanks to real-time GPU accelerated decoding on your GeForce GPU
  • View 3D photos instantly in slideshow or individually with included photo viewer
  • Watch streaming 3D movie content using video-on-demand applications like Next3D

It's out this "spring," price $40.
