Next Lara to launch on XBL, PSN and PC for $15 this summer

The next Lara game, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, is to come at the bargain price of $15, according to developer Crystal Dynamics.

The studio told Joystiq at GDC today that the game is, as many guessed, a PC, 360 and PS3 release.

It'll be made available as a download only.

The game is a top-down isometric, arcade-style co-op affair, in what appears to be a radical departure from recent instalments in the series.

Players will be able to take on the roles of Lara and a Mayan spearman named Totec. The two will use special abilities to help one another platform and mow down waves of enemies controlled by an evil spirit named Xoxolt.

Sounds saucy. Steph's seeing this today, so we'll have more for you later.
