Ubi slips PC version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

popsands

Ubisoft just pushed the PC version of the next Prince of Persia game back from May to June.

No reason has been given for the slip. We've just requested comment.

The game's console versions are still on track to release alongside the upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal movie in May.

Ubi has a habit of slipping off PC SKUs; it did the same with Assassin's Creed II late last year, with the PC version releasing today.

Ubisoft is currently at the centre of a tussle with the PC games community over a new DRM policy that requires users to be connected to the web to play at all.

"The internet" claimed this week to have cracked the system, but the publisher claimed the reports were false yesterday.

We'll stick up a comment as soon as we get something back.
