Glukhovsky remains coy on Metro 2033 follow-up

Metro 2033 2

Metro 2033 author Dmitry Glukhovsky has remained mum on a possible follow-up with Metro 2034.

Speaking with VG247 at an event for the title in London last week, Glukhovsky, asked if a Metro 2034 game was in the works as well as writing on Metro 2035, said:

"We can’t answer that. It’s THQ’s secret. But hopefully this is going to be the start of a big franchise.

"We all hope it will flourish and prosper. I’m using it as an opportunity to expand this world and turn it into a real universe."

Right now, Metro 2033 will release on March 19 in the UK for 360 and PC. There's no PS3 version coming because of a "business decision" made by THQ.

However, the publisher insists that if you are getting it for either platform, there'll be enough there to keep everyone interested, including those into multiplayer.
