Fallout: New Vegas scans show first screens

Fallout New Vegas

The first scans of Fallout: New Vegas have gotten out from the latest PSM3 issue, showing the first screens of the Obsidian spin-off.

Some new info was also published in the edition that wasn't found in the isssue of PC Gamer over the weekend.

The game takes place three years after Fallout 3, 40 years after Fallout 2, with your courier main character kidnapped and shot in the head.

But you're brought back to life after a robot named Victor takes you to "the run-down, Wild-west style town of Goodsprings".

From there, you get the character creation tools you got with Fallout 3 to properly tool yourself up.

The game is promised to be a lot more "wittier" and characters in it becoming "real" and "memorable".

Bethesda confirmed last week New Vegas would release in fall, alongside the launch of a first trailer.
