Jaffe: "No regrets" over leaving God of War, Twisted Metal reboot also mentioned

davidjaffe

Speaking in the latest video diary on his blog, God of War creator David Jaffe has said he has "no regrets" over leaving the series.

"I don't wish I was on the God of War 3 team. I'm totally happy with the contributions I made to that series, but, you know, it's not my game."

He also mentioned the new game his studio Eat, Sleep, Play are working on currently for PS3 for just a second in the video.

The game is officially unknown at this point, but is thought to be a new Twisted Metal.

And while he didn't go as far as confirming if it's another title in the vehicle combat series, he did say it'd be seen as a reboot if it were.

"Just to be clear, I've never said we were or were NOT making a new Twisted Metal. Ever. But just to be 100% clear, if we were to make a new Twisted, I would consider it a reboot," he said.

"If we were to make a new one, we'd be starting with the assumption that no one knows what Twisted Metal is anymore and we'd have to re-earn each and every fan the series ever had."
