Peter Jackson has revealed that he’s currently enjoying playing Modern Warfare 2 more than movies at the moment.

According to an interview with Ain’t It Cool News, the Modern Warfare 2 fan revealed that he’s in process of creating new titles.

“At the moment I am kind of involved with a Tintin game and obviously the beginning of The Hobbit game, so those two in terms of the gaming at the moment with all of the other scripts we are working on at the moment, those are the gaming things we are focusing on,” he said.

“I’ve got ideas that could be a movie or they could be a game rather than just make a movie and then do a spin-off game. I think some of the ideas I’ve got I’d rather do them as a stand alone game, because that world is getting more and more interesting.”

During E3 last year, Ubisoft announced its collaboration with Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s forthcoming movie adaptation of The Adventures of Tin Tin: Secret of the Unicorn.

As far as The Hobbit goes, Director Guillermo del Toro has said that there will not be a Hobbit game tie-in with the upcoming movie at launch, because doing both would be a huge undertaking for he and Jackson.
