Some new shots of Gran Turismo 5 came out overnight.

They look good. Get them over at GAF.

A new video was also released, showing off the Toyota FT-86G.

Watch it below, thanks to GT Planet.

The game should look nice: yesterday, Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi revealed the racer will use over “80 percent” of the PS3’s processing power.

PS3’s “power” wasn’t enough to keep the title on track this week, however. On Wednesday, Sony delayed Gran Turismo 5, but only for Japan’s release in March.

There is no date yet for the US or Europe: something SCEE will be announcing “in due course.”

Luckily, though, there’s plenty of appetite for the racer. It was announced earlier this week that the GT Time Trial demo, seen as a taster for the full game, was downloaded over 1 million times since its launch in December last year.
