BioWare releases ME2 character video featuring Commander Shepard

BioWare’s released another character video for Mass Effect 2, this time detailing Commander Shepard.

Like the one of Miranda Lawson, Than, and Grunt before it, the video is short and to the point – lasting less than 40 seconds.

Still, it gets your gears going for the game, which is out January 26 in the US and January 29 in Europe.

Earlier today, a Norwegian site claimed that day one DLC would land for the title with Cerberus Network Cards.

BioWare later confirmed that DLC for the game was indeed coming – but would not be charging for the content at launch.

Commander Shepard

  • Mass Effect's Commander Shepard turns minus 140 years old

On this day 140 years into the future Commander Shepard, the protagonist and inarguable hero of the Mass Effect trilogy, will be born. The BioWare Blog offers both Paragon and Renegade cupcakes and cocktails recipes in celebration. Happy birthday, Shep; we miss you.

  • Mass Effect movie will be all about (male) Shepard

In completely unsurprising news, Legendary Pictures has confirmed that yes, the Mass Effect movie will be all about Commander Shepard. It’s also (unfortunately) confirmed that the character in the starring role will be John, and not our beloved FemShep. That aside, it’s still good to have some news about the film adaptation, right?
