Nvidia and Intel blitz December's Steam hardware survey

Nvidia and Intel are clear hardware favourites with Steam owners, according to the Valve service's latest survey.

Nvidia accounted for over 63 percent of all GPUs running Steam in December, with ATI runner-up at 29 percent.

Intel enjoyed similar success on the CPU front, being used by 69 percent of Steam players.

Detailed data on Steam users' systems showed the most popular machine used Windows XP with 2Gb of RAM.
