Half-Life 2 mod has you battling Nazi dinosaurs

A Half-Life 2 mod called Dino D-Day has been released, and the dinosaurs aren’t just your regular run-of-the-mill giant lizard thingies.

They’re Nazi dinosaurs, and you can not only shoot ’em, but trade fisticuffs with a T-Rex should the mood strike you.

According to game designer Abe Scheuermann, Dino D-Day is a FPS expected to be released on Steam in 2010, so in the meantime, the development team has created the HL2 mod version to get the word out.

Head on over MODDB and watch the trailer now – it’s like old WWII newsreel footage.

Get the mod here.
