Channel 4 "not actively" bringing 4oD to Wii

4oD

Richard Davidson-Houston, head of online products at Channel 4, has told Weeman.com that currently, Channel 4 is not working on bringing its 4oD service to Wii like BBC iPlayer and Demand5.

Responding to comments made by 4oD customer support stating that "the 4oD service is not available to Wii users", and that there are "currently no plans to introduce such a service", Houston felt the need to clarify a bit.

"The 'No plans' you got from support is a simplification of the reality that we’re not actively working on a solution right now," said Houston. "We blog at Platform 4 and are always keen to hear feedback and suggestions, so do pile in there if you have any more. You’ll see comments there about PS3 too.

"Thanks for keeping us on our toes."

There's always hope, we reckon.

Thanks, GoNintendo.
