Capcom: Our box art lies!

After telling videogaming247 that the box art doesn't lie, Capcom has just got in touch to tell us that actually, yes it does.
"Turns out our pack art was wrong!" said a senior company rep to VG247 just now.
So in a nutshell: the box art showing the possibility of 2-16 player offline multiplayer is wrong.
Until Capcom tells us otherwise, of course.
