Japanese hardware sales: DSi flies off shelves, PS3 sales shoot up

Media Create's updated its weekly sales charts to confirm that DSi sold 172,000 units of Nintendo's initial 200,000 shipment.

PS3 had an amazing week relative to recent performance, presumably in thanks to the release of GTA IV, up from 3,931 last week to over 39,500 units sold.
