Home manager says Firmware 2.50, Home 1.00 set for October

According to this PS3F story, an SCEA Home manager has posted on a Home beta message board to say that a major PS3 Firmware update is expected in October.

"2.5 is what we're waiting for and 'October' is what I've heard, later October is my guess," he said in response to a query about a fix for Home beta system freezes.

In addition, the firmware update will also be released in conjunction with Home version 1.00, according to the post. Currently, the beta is at version 0.98.

Is this Home's release? Bet your ass you're not going to be able to move for Home stories in the next six weeks if it is.
