First Batman details: Open world, Pandemic-developed, is broken

A Kotaku source has scooped the caped crusader’s latest videogame, the Pandemic Dark Knight adaptation. While the insider confirms an open-world Gotham city for the title, the overall prognosis isn’t looking so hot.

Apparently, Batman’s combat just isn’t up to snuff. Words like “limited” and “repetitive,” as well as not-words like “mashy” pop-up in Kotaku’s article - much to our dismay. At least this explains why EA refuses to give us even a quick glimpse of the highly anticipated game, though.

As it stands, the project's story holds the most potential. The source claims it takes place after The Dark Knight, which has us quivering with excitement.

Hopefully we’ll hear more soon.
