Incoming Uncharted Trophies detailed
Well, mostly detailed – still no release date, sadly. But Naughty Dog was generous with other details to whet our whistles.
“You'll be able to get up to 48 Trophies in Uncharted. There are 47 Trophies related to what you do in the game -- finding treasures, hand-to-hand or gun combat and the like -- and the last one is the Platinum Trophy for getting all the other Trophies,” Arne Meyer, senior manager of marketing and communications at Naughty Dog, told IGN.
Don’t get too excited, though. Every Trophy is tied into Uncharted’s preexisting medal system, which functions nearly identically to PlayStation Trophies and Xbox 360 Achievements. “We didn't add anything new,” Meyer said. “Sorry!”
Trophies can’t be retroactively unlocked, either; so get ready for another déjà vu-tastic adventure through Uncharted’s lush jungles.
But hey, it could be worse. At least you’re not playing Avatar: The Last Airbender in a desperate attempt to nab as many Trophies as possible. Yet.
