Why E3 is completely doomed: pictures

Jesus wept. We were told a dozen times last week that the LA Convention Center was a tad morgue-ish for E3, but we never expected this. Joystiq's posted up some photos of the Center's entrance hall, and anyone familiar with the "old show" will be shocked. What the hell is that?
