Hands-on with Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice

disgaea38.jpg

IGN's posted its E3 hands-on with Disgaea 3, and it sounds as though there may be trouble ahead for the JSRPG. From the piece:

I also had a lot of trouble with camera control during a few select stages. Moving your cursor along different elevations drops the camera down to wherever the cursor lands, meaning when you skim over a multi-tiered level, the camera jumps up and down and it's very hard to grasp your situation. Coupled with a blurry bunch of sprites cluttered together, the entire interface felt clunky and outdated. Hopefully these control issues are isolated incidents.

We have no doubt that Disgaea 3 will appeal to the gamers that enjoy the series, but we have several concerns that make us wary of the final product.

Say it isn't so. Have a read.
