Take-Two's confirmed that previously rumoured problems at internal UK studio Venom Games are a fact, and that staff are currently being consulted on possibly redundancies.

"We are assessing the role of Venom Games in Take-Two's overall global studio system and are in a consultation with the employees of Venom in relation to possible redundancies at the studio," the publisher said in a statement issued to VG247. "No final decision will be made until after the consultation with employees."

CVG first broke the news that the developer was in trouble yesterday.

Venom was most recently responsible for Don King Presents: Prizefighter.
