Shenmue III at E3? "No comment"

Sega's just issued on a "no comment" on rumours last week that Shenmue III is to be shown at this year's E3.

For what it's worth - and before you all start frothing at the mouth, digging out your Ryu codpieces and waiting for buses for days on end - we would be extremely surprised it this were true.

The original talk about a new version of the game came from a Meristation report, which speculated that a newly-acquired Unreal Engine license by Sega was to create a third Shenmue game.
