Fracture webdoc shows new in-game footage

There’s an eight-minute video thingum of Activision’s Fracture over on CVG, showing new in-game footage mixed with developer interviews. The near-future action title’s all about terrain deformation, from the look of it, and a plot fusing genetics and global warming. Looks OK. Take a look.

Fracture’s for 360 and PS3, and it’s out in October. Official site here.

Day 1

  • Mercenaries 2 and Fracture demos Live, says Nelson

Three times a charm. Nelson brings word that the Mercenaries 2 demo is actually live, although you’re not going to be able to get it if you’re in Germany. Details through the link. Also, LucasArts’ demo for Fracture’s up now, as you can see here. Get get get.

  • Fracture demo for September 18

According to this Shacknews report, the demo for LucasArts’ Fracture will release for both 360 and PS3 on September 18. Apparently the taster’s just going to include a touch of the single-player game, but you’ll be able to see how the terrain transformation works at least.
