First quarter a record for UK games industry

According to MCV, the first quarter of this year has been a record for UK games in terms of sales.

ChartTrack figures for the first three months of the 2007 show that sales are up over £100 million year-on-year.

Q1 stats:

Total Market Unit Sales:
2007: 15.62m
2008: 17.89m

Total Market Value:
2007: £317m
2008: £418.4m
