WoW hits 1 million concurrent users in China

According to this press release, World of Warcraft was played my more than 1 million people in China simultaneously this week, the highest level the MMO's reached since launching in the country in June 2005.

The9, the firm that operates the game in China, puts the launch of The Burning Crusade down as the reason for the recent lift. The expansion released in China in September 2007.
